The main form of the rectifier circuit of the gondola electrical system
The main form of the rectifier circuit of the electrical system of the gondola:
1. Half-wave rectification of the gondola: a rectifier diode is used for rectification. Due to the unidirectional conduction characteristics of the diode, when the waveform is positive, there is current in the diode, when the waveform is negative, there is no current in the diode, so Only half of the waveforms are used, so it is called half-wave rectification, and the efficiency of half-wave rectification is 0.45. However, half-wave rectification uses few components and is simple to use, so it is still used in many occasions. For example, the brake coils used in some luffing mechanisms mostly use half-wave rectification.
2. Full-wave rectification of gondola: Full-wave rectification is relative to half-wave rectification. Full wave rectification adds a set of windings and a rectifier diode to the transformer secondary. When the winding A terminal is positive, the current passes through the rectifier diode U-, when the winding B terminal is positive, the current passes through the rectifier diode U2. In this way, the positive and negative waves of the sinusoidal alternating current are used to obtain two half-wave direct currents on the load. So it is called full wave rectification. Since two half-waves are obtained, the waveform of the full-wave rectified DC power is flatter than that of the half-wave rectified DC power. The disadvantage is that two windings are required, which increases the material and limits the application occasions.
